Audra began dancing at age 13 with Dramatic Truth School of the Arts where she studied ballet, pointe, partnering, modern, and contemporary. She was a member of the school’s Trainee Company for three years giving her the opportunity to perform locally as well as in Houston and New York City. In 2014 , Audra spent time overseas using her dance in England and Italy to bring joy and beauty to communities with little access to the arts.  There she got to collaborate with artists from around the world as well as teach workshops. In 2015, Audra became a company member with Dramatic Truth Ballet Theater where she danced for three years touring the U.S. and internationally. In 2018, Audra joined Zion Dance Project in Dallas, TX where she danced for two seasons and still continues to choreograph works and teach for their training program. She also taught and choreographed for Texas Ballet Theater School working with both their Studio Training Company and Professional Development program.

Audra has a particular passion for teaching Graham based modern which she studied under former Graham 2 member, Tobin James. Besides Graham, Audra enjoys teaching ballet, contemporary, and improvisation as well as growing dancers in artistry and performance by helping them connect with their own hearts and stories in the creative process. Reminding them that they are first human beings and then dancers.
